My family supports independent businesses and Artichoke Food Co-Op is not only independent but a 'real' food co-operative. --PHYLLIS
My favorite things to buy at the co-op are mesclun mix, salsa, and Barbara's frozen burritos. I am a member because I like to know where my food comes from, who grows it, and if fair working conditions and policies exist and are implemented. And since it's non-profit, no-one is profiting from my need to eat. -- JOSIE
